In the old courtyard you will find peace and quiet, and in Gamlestova, which dates back to 1719, you can relax, light the fireplace, and truly feel that you are living in a house with a soul.

The Farm

On the farm there is active agricultural work with cows, calves, and small animals. You can experience the liveliness of the animals and enjoy the atmosphere of a genuine farm. Calves on pasture in the summer.

Secluded

There is a lovely, secluded outdoor area behind "Gamlestova" — perfect for relaxing outdoors, enjoying breakfast in good weather, or cozy evenings by the fireplace.

Galde Uppigard

From Jotunheimen and Bøverdalen, we warmly welcome everyone to a stay surrounded by magnificent nature, either on the farm at Galdesand or at the mountain pasture at Raubergstulen. This is an excellent starting point for summer skiing, mountain hiking, caving, fishing, riding, and climbing.

Also centrally located for ski touring in spring and early summer.

Peace and quiet in an old courtyard

Kårstugu: A charming, old house with 15 beds spread across 5 bedrooms. A well‑equipped kitchen with good cooking facilities and a dishwasher. Large living room with TV. Two showers and one toilet with washbasin.

Fjellburet: New, small apartment with one bedroom (three beds and a sofa bed for one person in the living room). Living room with TV and a well‑equipped kitchenette with dishwasher. Shower and toilet with washbasin.

Huldrebu: Beautiful old apartment with a new kitchen, living room, and modern bathroom.

Dalastugu: New cabin with six sleeping places. Living room with TV and a kitchenette with dishwasher. Shower and toilet with washbasin.

Stabburet: A cozy, idyllic room with four beds, cooking facilities, and a small TV.

Furtebu: Here there are 3 beds and cooking facilities.

Library: A cozy room with two beds. Cooking facilities.

Rental of bed linen and towels.

Other: Farm museum, drying room, sanitary facilities, and access to a washing machine. Free wireless internet.

Minimum stay of 2 nights.
